The additional fruit flavoring was first suggested by TNI's current president to sell more Noni juice because it tastes better, but the resulting product is less potent that you would find in Tru Noni juice from Hawaii. I believe they were the first to add water and flavor Noni juice that would make them "original" but where it gets a little in the gray area is when they call their product "authentic". I am sure if there weren't truth in label laws on products ingredient they would call it "pure", but they can't so they use the other words to paint a positive picture in their customers mind. That's call branding.
